When Covid-19 challenged the operating rooms, Macie took a nightshift ER job in the rural town of Aspermont, Texas at Stonewall Memorial Hospital. She graduated August of 2020, with her MSN, APRN, FNP, and proceeded to obtain her national accreditation through the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners.
Macie has experienced many different patient profiles from various walks of life and socioeconomic backgrounds, giving her insight into the complexities life can bring to managing healthcare. This perspective allows Macie to work with her patients to think outside the box to solve challenges and help patients achieve their healthcare goals.
Macie chose to move to Bremerton, Washington in November of 2020, to be close to her family in Port Orchard and to start her career as a Nurse Practitioner. Macie has a daughter, who will be starting college in the Fall. In her free time, she enjoys exploring the countryside with her dogs, cooking up culinary delights, collecting old cookbooks from around the world and spending time with her family. She is very excited to start working with Olympic Internal Medicine and looks forward to meeting each of you.
