Mary R. Hutton Eyer, ARNP
Mary R. Hutton Eyer, ARNP is a board certified Adult Nurse Practitioner. Ms. Eyer was born and raised in the Midwest before coming to Washington in 1979. She earned her RN from Peninsula College in Pt. Angeles in 1982. As an RN she worked initially in Critical Care at Harrison Medical Center from 1982-1986. She went on to work as a Rounds Nurse at the hospital for Kitsap Cardiology Consultants for 18 years. Following this rewarding career, she went to work for Group Health Cooperative as a Case Manager in Internal Medicine then as a Home Health and Hospice nurse. This job enabled her to return to school and obtain her Master of Science degree from Seattle Pacific University. She earned her ARNP certification in 2012 and began working as a Primary Care Provider at Port Hadlock Medical Center, a small rural community clinic. She returned to serve her local community at Olympic Internal Medicine in January of 2013. Her many years in a variety of health care settings and levels has led Ms. Eyer to have a unique appreciation for her client’s individual needs as she manages their personal health care. She actively works with patients to develop a plan of care that works for them, while applying the principles of evidence-based medicine and knowledge of recent research. She is active in the West Sound Advanced Practice Association and has served in multiple capacities in local and state-wide professional associations. Mary is married and has two grown children. She enjoys hiking, kayaking, gardening, travel and service in her church and community.
