Gary Gretch, M.D. is a board certified physician in Internal Medicine. Dr. Gretch was born and raised in Montana. He received a Bachelor of Science in both Biology and Chemistry in 1983 from the College of Great Falls in Great Falls, Montana. He received his medical degree in 1987 from Washington University in St. Louis, Missouri and completed his internship and residency in Internal Medicine at Oregon Health Sciences University in Portland, Oregon. Dr. Gretch began his medical career in 1990 as Chief Resident in Internal Medicine at Oregon Health Sciences University and established his private practice in 1991 by joining Dr. William Seal in Bremerton, Washington. In 1996 Dr. Gretch, along with his partners Dr. Frederick Dore Jr. and Dr. William Seal, formed Olympic Internal Medicine Associates. The group merged with Kitsap Internal Medicine Associates at the end of 2009 and is now known as Olympic Internal Medicine, Inc., P.S. He has multiple times been named as one of the “Top Docs” in Kitsap County by Checkbook Magazine. Dr. Gretch’s member affiliations include: the American College of Physicians, Alpha Omega Alpha, Washington State Medical Association and the Kitsap County Medical Society. In his spare time, he enjoys kayaking, hiking, cross country skiing and other outdoor activities.
