COMPLIANCE HOTLINE

SPEAKing UP is the right thing to do

An Olympic Internal Medicine, Inc., P.S. Hotline has been established to provide employees with a confidential method for raising concerns about violations or suspected violations of the Compliance Program.

Employees must report all instances of Anti-Kickback, Stark, False Claims, or HIPAA violations to the Chief Compliance Officer or to whomever is appointed by him or her to handle such cases.

EMPLOYEES WILL NOT FACE ANY PENALTIES OR OTHER FORMS OF RETRIBUTION WHEN THEY MAKE ANY SUCH REPORTS TO THE CHIEF COMPLIANCE OFFICER.

All violations, suspected violations, questionable conduct, or questionable practices shall be reported by employees to Olympic Internal Medicine by:

  • Reporting to the employee’s immediate supervisor
  • Filing a report through the Olympic Internal Medicine, Inc., P.S. Hotline as described above
  • Reporting to the Compliance Officer (by phone or in writing); or
  • Issuing a verbal or written report to any of the corporate officers/physician shareholders.

The caller or author may report all information anonymously, and Olympic Internal Medicine will attempt to preserve the confidentiality of the matter and anonymity of the author or caller to the fullest extent permitted by law. However, confidentiality and anonymity cannot be guaranteed in all situations.

Olympic Internal Medicine’s Compliance Officer can also be reached by sending an email to compliance@olympicinternalmed.com or, fill out the Confidential Employee Complaint form below. If you prefer to remain anonymous, do not complete the “Employee Information” section of the form.

Membership practices are no longer unusual, particularly in other regions of the country. Our Membership Model involves a yearly membership fee of $250, which is completely separate from your current medical insurance, and will allow us to provide services beyond what medical insurance covers. Your insurance remains unchanged – we will continue to bill your insurance for covered services, and you are still responsible for copays and deductibles.

Our hope is that you agree there is significant value in having experienced physicians direct your care, who are independent of the large health corporations, who can address multiple issues in a single visit, and who are supported by helpful and capable office staff. Our goal is to continue providing you with excellent care as you have come to expect from us, in the best way we know how, for as long as we are able.

We acknowledge this new model may not be a good fit for everyone. If you elect not to participate, we ask that you work to identify a new primary care provider now, and we will provide refills and care for emergent issues for a short time while you establish, as well as transfer records upon request from them and with your approval.

We appreciate your support and know you will have questions. Please visit the membership page on our website for answers to frequently asked questions. You may also submit your questions to our practice via the patient portal or call our team members at (360) 377-3923. Our entire staff will help assist you through this transition.

Sincerely,

Dr. Dore, Dr. Gretch, Dr. Gross, Dr. Steele
